Crafted from a total of 36 ex-bourbon hogsheads, first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks and ex-Rioja casks, all laid down between 1998 and 2001 and hand selected by Gordon Motion.

Bottled at is marrying strength of 46% ABV, this is a sweet and spicy 21 year old single malt Scotch whisky that opens with aromas of tropical fruits, toasted almonds, freshly grated nutmeg and floral peat smoke. Complex and finely balanced layers of flavour follow in a wild harmony of lemon zest and aromatic fenugreek, apples caramelised in honey and cinnamon, and a dusting of cedar-smoked sweet paprika. Woody spices linger at the finish, with a hint of citrus oil in the heather peat smoke. This whisky's bright russet hues are driven entirely naturally by the casks it matured in, without additives.
