Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a luxuriant copper-gold glow and a whisper of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Opulent, time-worn on the nose: sherry-soaked richness layered with antique oak and a touch of Highland Park’s signature peat. Dried fig and date give way to orange zest, toffee, and honey, with sea-salt, leather, and subtle spice in the background.
Palate
Silky and refined, this palate balances subtle peat with honeyed fruit, waxy oak and sherry sweetness. Dried fig and orange zest mingle with a whisper of sea salt, while spice and leather unfold toward a long, elegant finish of cocoa and warm oak.
Finish
A long, refined finish where peat smoke and maritime notes ease into rich sherry sweetness, with dried fig and dark chocolate, then lingering spice and polished oak. Warm, velvety and subtly smoky, fading to a timeless, contemplative glow.
