Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with copper-gold shimmer and a mahogany-tinged edge.
Nose
Opulent sherried aromas of raisin and fig mingle with orange zest and ripe pear. Honeyed vanilla and toffee weave through, while warm spice—cinnamon and clove—drifts over polished oak. A whisper of cocoa nibs and almond adds velvet depth, inviting slow, contemplative sips.
Palate
Silky and full on the palate, this Glenrothes delivers rich dried-fruit sweetness with orange zest, toffee, and a touch of cocoa. Sherry influence threads through warm spice—cinnamon and clove—over a velvety oak core. Creamy, with a lingering finish that coats the mouth in honeyed warmth and gentle nuttiness.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with sherry-driven sweetness, dark fruit and cocoa that linger on the palate. Silky oak and spice emerge late, leaving a warm, toasted-nut echo and a final kiss of cacao.
