This very rare limited edition is the result of finishing mature Glenmorangie in casks made of Truffle Oak from Germany's Black Forest for 2 years.
Original maturation in American oak for 10 years.
Only 886 bottles were produced from a single cask and this is fast becoming a cult malt with collectors and investors - January 2012.
From a 1993 distillation and bottled at a mighty 60.5% ABV.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery undertones and a honeyed, sunlit glow.
Nose
Hazelnut, dark chocolate, black cherry jam and marzipan mingle with ginger cake, toasted clove spice, menthol, and perfumed peach juice, yielding a lush, fragrant invitation to the senses.
Palate
Dark chocolate and praline dominate the palate, laced with ginger mocha notes, cherry jam on marzipan, and a peppery-spicy oak that carries peaches in syrup.
Finish
Big and bold on the finish, with lingering spicy black fruits, decadent chocolate truffles, warming ginger, and toasted hazelnuts.
