This is the original bottling from 1998 bottled at 21 years of age. Beware of the 2003 bottling which some people refer to as a 26 year old as this also contains some of this original vatting so in fact iis still a 21 year old.

Tasting Notes
Colour
A radiant deep amber with copper-gold flashes and a mahogany edge, glowing like sunset on polished oak.
Nose
Silky and refined, the aroma opens with orange zest, lemon rind, vanilla and almond cream. Rich sherry-cask notes emerge—dried fig and raisin, cocoa and toffee—subtly threaded with toasted oak and spice, yielding a poised, luxurious fragrance.
Palate
Velvety, lush palate delivering dark fruit drama—prune, fig and raisin—brightened by candied orange and almond. Rich sherry sweetness interlaces with cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of clove, underpinned by polished oak. The finish broadens into cacao, leather and orange zest, leaving a warm, resinous glow.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with sherry-soft sweetness, fig and raisin fruit, and velvety oak. Dried fruit notes give way to cocoa, toasted almond, and a drizzle of caramel, while cinnamon and ginger linger on the palate, leaving a warm, refined, slightly nutty edge that invites another slow sip.
