The 4th incarnation of Glenmorangie Lasanta, their Sherry cask finished Single Malt. A signature expression for the distillery and one of the first cask finished whiskies produced in the industry, when it was initially released bank in the early 1990's. . Still a 12 Year Old age statement but with updated packaging that compliments the rest of the 'extra age series'.
Rich and full-bodied, Lasanta is first aged in American oak ex-bourbon casks for smoothness and then this single malt is finished in hand-selected Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Sourced from Jerez in Spain, the sherry casks bring rich raisin intensity, toffee and spices to Glenmorangie's renowned smooth style, enjoyed and awarded across the world.

Colour
Rich amber-gold with copper-bronze edges and a mahogany glow.
Nose
Opulent nose of dried raisins and fig, lavishly wrapped in toffee and warm spice. Sherry from Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez unveils vanilla, cocoa and toasted oak, with a subtle nutty edge. A dessert-bright aroma that speaks to Glenmorangie’s renowned smoothness.
Palate
Luxuriously full-bodied, Lasanta coats the palate with rich raisin and fig, caramelized toffee and dark chocolate. Sherry-influenced spice—cinnamon, clove—unfolds against smooth vanilla and almond, finishing with a warm orange zest and a lingering, cocoa-dusted sweetness.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish layers raisin and toffee with warm spice, riding on velvety oak. The sherry cask imprint lingers, delivering a dessert-like sweetness that gradually fades into a refined, enduring warmth.
