Part of Glenmorangie's 'Extra Aged' series. This single malt is initially aged in American oak bourbon casks before being transferred to wine casks from Sauternes, which previously held the sweet French wine.

Fruity and syrupy with a much more noticeable sweetness and candied fruit element when compared to the standard 10 Year Old.

Nose

Opulent, dessert-bright nose of apricot and peach draped in honey, with candied fruit, orange marmalade, and vanilla cream. Syrupy sweetness from the Sauternes casks mingles with almond, spice and toasted oak, yielding a warm, inviting bouquet.
