Opulent, dessert-bright nose of apricot and peach draped in honey, with candied fruit, orange marmalade, and vanilla cream. Syrupy sweetness from the Sauternes casks mingles with almond, spice and toasted oak, yielding a warm, inviting bouquet.
Palate
Silky and luscious, the palate delivers syrupy sweetness with ripe candied fruit—apricot, pear and citrus—woven with honeyed vanilla from the bourbon cask. The Sauternes influence broadens into rich dessert-wine sweetness, carrying creme brulee richness and a kiss of almond spice, finishing long, velvety and warmly fruity.
Finish
Lavishly long, the finish unfurls with honeyed apricot and candied orange, wrapped in silky Sauternes sweetness. Syrupy warmth lingers, with almond, vanilla and a whisper of spice, as velvety oak fades into an elegant, enduring sweetness.
