Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep copper-gold with radiant amber and mahogany undertones, a warm, luminous glow.

Nose

Opulent sherry notes envelop Glenlivet’s singular cask character. Dark plums, dried figs, and candied orange zest mingle with toasted almonds and molten caramel. Rich spice—cinnamon and clove—threads through polished oak, with whispers of espresso and cocoa. A luxurious warmth lingers, hinting at the depth to follow on the palate.

Palate

Full-bodied and oily, this cask-strength Glenlivet reveals a luxurious sherry backbone. Prune, fig and raisin lead with dark cocoa, toasted almond and orange zest. Spices—cinnamon and clove—warm the palate, finishing long, velvety and subtly oaky.

Finish

Opulent, long finish of sherry-sweetened oak, with peppery warmth. Dried fig, date and plum unfold softly, tempered by cocoa and orange zest. A silky, lingering glow coats the palate, inviting another refined sip.
