This 2006 Glenlivet from Decadent Drams was matured in a single sherry hogshead and bottled at 19 years old at 57.1% ABV. It is a confident, modern sherry cask whisky, where the cask brings real depth and richness without losing the distillery’s natural elegance. The result is a full, mature Speyside malt with plenty of dark fruit, tobacco, chocolate and spice, but enough polish and balance to keep everything composed.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Ripe figs and prunes mingle with sultanas and strawberry jam, lifted by cedarwood. A cigar-box richness threads through, hinting at sherried depth and refined warmth.
Palate
Waxy dark fruit, tobacco, milk chocolate, a touch of sea salt and gentle mocha.
Finish
Long, with preserved dark fruits, walnut oil, spice and a hint of rancio.
