The Glenlivet Enigma is a single malt Scotch whisky presented in a matte black bottle at 60.6% abv. All other information is kept a secret, however buyers can ‘unlock’ tasting cues by solving a digital crossword puzzle.

Colour
Deep amber with warm copper highlights, a luminous sherry-kissed glow that hints at richness and mystery.
Nose
Enigmatic and richly fragrant, with dark orchard fruits—figs and raisins—felt against velvety cocoa and toffee. A sherry-tinged oak backbone brings spice and depth, while orange zest and vanilla spark a bright, polished lift. At 60.6% ABV, the aroma hints at untold richness and mystery awaiting in the glass.
Palate
Bold and velvety, this powerhouse coats the palate with warm intensity. Dark fruit, espresso and cocoa mingle with shadowy spice—cinnamon and clove—while supple oak and dried-fruit sweetness emerge. A long, enigmatic finish carries hints of sherry and resinous wood, inviting slow, contemplative sips.
