Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with sun-kissed honey-gold tones and coppery flashes, a warm bronzed gleam that hints at aged sherry.
Nose
Opulent nose of sun-dried fruits—prune, fig, and apricot—woven with orange rind and a ribbon of vanilla. Sherry-cask warmth brings cocoa, almond, and a whisper of nutmeg, while polished oak lends elegance. Leather and a faint tobacco lift emerge as the aroma settles, finishing with a subtle sweetness and refined, age-softened depth.
Palate
Silky and poised, the palate carries orchard fruit and honeyed vanilla, folded into rich sherry-influenced notes. Dried fig and raisin emerge against walnut and toasted oak, with a subtle orange rind lift. The texture is mellow and elegant, grain-soft yet persistent, finishing with warming spice, cocoa hints, and a long, refined fade.
Finish
Long, refined finish with velvety warmth. Notes of polished oak, vanilla and honeyed toffee give way to dried fruit and a gentle sherry lift, with a subtle spice echoing in the final glow. An elegant, lingering fade befitting a 32-year-old Speyside classic.
