Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with ruby highlights, a warm, honeyed glow that radiates in the glass.
Nose
Opulent with sherry-softened fruit and spice: ripe apple and pear mingle with dried fig and sultana, kissed by orange zest, toffee, and almond. Hints of cocoa, vanilla, and gentle oak rise from the glass, weaving a warm, aromatic sweetness and refined spice.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with a confident 50% warmth. Orchard fruits—apple and pear—give way to honey, vanilla and almond. Sherry-cask influence brings dried figs, raisins and cocoa, wrapped in polished oak. Ginger and nutmeg weave through the mid-palate, delivering a long, warming finish with a cocoa-dried fruit afterglow.
Finish
Opulent, long finish with sherry-depth and warm fruit sweetness. Dried apricot, orange zest and cocoa unfold over satin oak, while gentle spice threads carry through the palate. The 50% ABV sustains a creamy, persistent fade, leaving a refined orchard-fruit and almond-nut echo that invites the next sip.
