Glenglassaugh Revival Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
Initially debuted in 2012, this was the first Whisky to be released by Genglassaugh after re-opening in 2008. Initial maturation in ex-bourbon and red wine casks was followed by 6 month finishing in Oloroso sherry casks. All three cask types work well in unison to create remarkable complexity and depth of flavour for such a young Whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a copper-gold glow and a warm mahogany edge, catching a ruby hue in bright light.
Nose
Vivid red fruit greets the senses—ripe red plums and red berries—laced with toffee and spiced honey. Biscuity malt underpins a praline sweetness, while grapey whispers and a cocoa-dusted finish add toasty depth.
Palate
Waxy orange, mocha, cocoa dusted red berries, malty and honey mouthfeel, yellow plums, walnut whips, blackcurrant leaf.
Finish
Red berries mingle with ginger biscuits as aromatic oak and wine tannins frame a long, graceful finish, with lingering notes of coffee and walnut.
