Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with sun-kissed copper-gold tones and a whisper of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Opulent on the nose, rich sherry notes from PX and oloroso entwine with fig and raisin, toffee, butterscotch, and dark chocolate. Hints of vanilla, warm oak and a touch of heather round out a velvety, robust bouquet.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, this 18-year-old balances dried fig and raisin with rich toffee and sherry sweetness, lifted by hints of heather and butterscotch. Velvet mouthfeel with dark chocolate, spice and soft oak, and a long, warming finish.
Finish
Opulent, long finish where sherry sweetness from Pedro Ximénez and oloroso lingers with fig, raisin and toffee. Velvety oak and a whisper of dark chocolate persist, with gentle spice and a touch of heather, leaving a warm, enduring curtain of confection and oak.
