Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany-tinted glow.
Nose
Aromas of polished oak and gentle sherry cling to ripe orchard fruit—baked pear and apple—alongside raisin and fig. Hints of orange zest, almond, vanilla, and dark chocolate mingle with warm spice, yielding a suave, nutty, dessert-like bouquet.
Palate
Silky, fruit-forward palate with ripe apple and pear, unfolding into dried citrus and subtle malt notes. Sherry influence yields dark fruit, raisin, and cocoa, braided with vanilla and caramel. Gentle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—emerges on a lacquered oak backbone. Smooth and refined, the finish lingers with warm fruit and toffee.
Finish
Sherry-kissed warmth lingers long on the palate, unveiling dried plum and fig, toasted oak, and a touch of cocoa. The finish is medium-long, gently resinous, with subtle spice and a refined, soft tannic fade that invites another sip.
