This Single Malt was matured for ten years in ex-Bourbon casks, before a finishing of four to six months in virgin charred oak casks for extra smoothness. This is a Whisky of intense sweetness, with spice and notes of toasty oak.

Colour
Golden amber with warm coppery undertones, like sunlit honey in a glass.
Nose
A sweet shop in a glass: barley sugars, pineapple chunks and butter toffees mingle, hinting at a creamy, confectionary sweetness.
Palate
Blackcurrant jam and chewy liquorice toffee unfold across the palate, a sweet, inviting core brightened by warming spice. Vanilla oak layers mingle with a toasted, lightly charred edge from the cask finish.
Finish
Dark chocolate dissolves over the tongue, fading to a delicate hint of smoke and toasted vanilla that lingers warmly.
