Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, sun-kissed amber with copper-gold shimmer and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Aromas of sherried richness: dried fig, cherry, and raisin with orange peel. Dark chocolate and cocoa nibs mingle with vanilla and caramel. Toasted almond and spiced notes—clove and nutmeg—layer over velvety oak, while a whisper of leather and tobacco adds depth. A refined, lingering finish.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this offers dried-fruit richness: fig, date and raisin, layered with velvety toffee, dark chocolate and orange zest. Sherry influence adds almond, warm spice (cinnamon, clove) and oak, with a hint of smoke. The palate broadens gracefully, balancing sweetness and tannin into a long, refined finish.
Finish
Long, refined finish with velvety sherry sweetness lingering beside dried fig and apricot, and a touch of polished oak. Subtle spice—cinnamon and clove—and hints of cocoa drift into a warm, enduring fade, ending in a leathery, mellifluous dryness that invites another sip.
