Aged in a single refill hogshead cask and bottled at cask strength, this light gold Whisky has a nose of blackcurrants, raspberries and apples. The palate is sweet with fruits, mint and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long with lingering sweet oak.

Light gold with sunlit warmth and a delicate honeyed amber glow.

Nose

Bright, fruit-forward nose of blackcurrants, raspberries and apples; a delicate sweetness lifts the bouquet, leaving an inviting, fresh-fruit impression.

Palate

Concentrated and sweet on the palate, with berry and orchard-fruit notes, a refreshing mint lift, and a subtle vanilla undertone, finishing with lingering sweet oak.

Finish

A long finish in which sweet oak lingers, leaving a warm, polished echo on the palate.

Girvan
(GIR-van) Girvan was built by William Grant & Sons in 1963 on the Ayrshire coast, reportedly in just nine months, and opened as the largest grain distillery in the world at the time. It was created to secure a reliable supply of grain whisky for the company’s blends, and it remains one of the most important sites in the William Grant portfolio. Although Girvan is less visible than malt distilleries with large official ranges, its role in Scotch whisky has been significant for decades.
