Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a burnished copper glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Intense sherry-dark sweetness greets the nose, with dried figs and raisins lacquered in caramel and toffee, brightened by orange zest and hints of dark chocolate. Layered notes of toasted almond and cedar swirl with spice and vanilla, all resting on polished oak with a faint waxy, grainy perfume that promises indulgent richness.
Palate
Silky, creamy entry of vanilla and toffee gives way to rich sherried fruit—raisins, fig and orange zest—woven with cocoa and almond. Spices drift in: ginger, a touch of cinnamon, underpinned by polished oak. The mouthfeel stays full and luxurious, finishing long with warm sweetness and a twinkle of citrus.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with pronounced sherry sweetness: dried figs and raisins, orange zest, dark chocolate, and toasted almond, mingled with warm spice and smooth oak. The warmth lingers, leaving a refined, chocolaty glow and a subtle, lingering nib of spice.
