The 2018 Release is distilled with a rare mix of golden promise and propino barley strains and the golden colour is naturally derived from maturation in the finest ‘honey’ casks carefully selected by the team at Eden Mill Distillery St Andrews.
This was the first in a series of annual releases from Eden Mill, bottled to celebrate St Andrew's Day. Only 3200 bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant golden-honey with a warm, sunlit amber glow, a luminous hue born from careful maturation in honey casks.
Nose
Soft, sun-warmed malt notes rise with honeyed sweetness and a waxy vanilla glow. Subtle orchard fruit and dried apricot unfold, framed by almond and a gentle sherry-tinged oak. A delicate spice whispers through toasted barley husk, finishing with a linger of honey cake and warm, sunlit grain.
Palate
Silky honeyed sweetness coats the palate, with toffee, dried apricot and orange zest unfolding over velvety barley. Sherry-cask warmth brings cinnamon, almond and a gentle oak lift, finishing long and elegantly.
Finish
Gracefully long, the finish lingers with warm honeyed sweetness and subtle sherry-influenced fruit. Velvet barley richness yields to almond and baking-spice notes, while gentle oak tannins ebb slowly, leaving a polished, indulgent warmth.
