Colour
Natural, deep amber with coppery highlights and a ruby-tinted glow, hinting at a rich mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent nose of dark fruits—plum, blackberry and cherry—woven with red-wine cask sweetness. Rich cacao, toffee and toasted oak mingle with warming spices: cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Subtle leather and orange zest add a luxurious, raisin-like depth to this indulgent Dalmore.
Palate
Velvety, full-bodied, it coats the palate with dark fruit. Plum and blackberry mingle with fig and raisin, aided by red-wine cask sweetness. Spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—with cocoa and espresso notes, while rich oak and a hint of leather add depth. At 54.8% ABV the texture stays plush. The finish is long, warm, and peppery, with lingering fruit and chocolate.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish lingers with dark fruit—plum, blackberry and fig—kissed by warm spices of clove and cinnamon. Red wine cask influence coats the palate, leaving polished oak, cocoa and a subtle sweetness. The 54.8% ABV provides a comforting, lingering warmth that slowly fades to a refined, lasting finish.
