The Dalmore 1263 Custodian Bottling is an exclusive offering available only to Dalmore Custodians.
A single cask laid to rest in 2000, The Dalmore Millennium Release is matured initially in American ex-bourbon wood and then transferred into a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask.
Bottled in 2012 with only 421 bottles available, with a further two casks to be bottled in 2015 and 2018.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, deep amber with copper-bronze highlights and a dark mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent vanilla and caramel lift from a lush oloroso backbone, mingling with candied orange peel, dried fig and raisin. Cocoa, toasted almond and a kiss of cinnamon unfold, while polished oak weaves a warm, velvety finish.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, this single-cask whisky delivers orange marmalade, dark chocolate, and caramel, layered with dried fig and raisin from the oloroso finish. Rich vanilla and toffee mingle with warm spice—cinnamon and clove—while velvet oak carries a long, decadent finish with citrus zest.
Finish
Long, opulent finish infused with sherried sweetness and oak spice. Dried fig and orange peel linger with cocoa nibs and toasted almond, carried by velvety bourbon warmth. Warming and refined, the finish slowly fades to a whisper of spice and incense.
