Opulent sherry envelops the nose, with dried plum and fig, orange zest, and toffee merging into dark chocolate. Spices—cinnamon and clove—ride atop polished oak, with a touch of leather and toasted almond; a syrupy, nutty depth hints at age and quiet elegance.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate of rich dried fruit—fig, prune, sultana—woven with dark toffee, cocoa and espresso. Sherry influence adds velvety sweetness against nutty oak, while cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spice lift the mid-palate. Long, warm finish of cocoa, leather and toasted almond.
Finish
Sherry-tinged and enduring, this finish drapes the palate with dried fruit—fig and date—alongside polished oak, almond and a wisp of cocoa. A thread of orange zest and spice lingers, then a long, warm drying to a refined, oak-kissed finale that unfolds with quiet elegance.
