Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a coppery shimmer and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Elegant and contemplative, the aroma opens with orchard fruits—poached pear, hints of apple—soft malt and honey. Walnut-shell oak, creamy vanilla and toffee weave through, while dried fruits (raisin, orange zest) lend richness. A delicate sherry-tinged complexity emerges, with a whisper of spice and a faint, refined smoke that lingers on the senses.
Palate
Silky and refined, the palate offers honeyed malt, orange zest and orchard fruit, evolving into dried raisin, toffee and dark chocolate. Sherry depth brings spice and a touch of leather, while balanced oak grounds the finish. Full, velvety and warming, it lingers with soft sweetness and polished, oak-driven length.
Finish
Long, refined and warming, the finish coats the palate with honeyed malt and polished oak, while dried fruit lingers softly. Ginger and cinnamon spice thread through orange zest, leaving a velvety, enduring glow.
