Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden amber with sunlit honey hues and a warm, radiant glow.

Nose

Soft, honeyed nose with ripe apple and pear fruit, crowned by creamy vanilla and a touch of toasty barley. Subtle almond and a hint of dried fruit from sherry cask influence, plus a delicate caramel sweetness that lends polished, velvety depth.

Palate

Silky and approachable on the palate, Cardhu 12 unfolds honeyed orchard fruit—pear and apple—wrapped in warm vanilla and soft malt. Subtle spice and gentle oak balance, finishing with light toffee sweetness and a clean, creamy echo.

Finish

Silky, honeyed sweetness lingers, carrying orchard fruit and vanilla into a soft almond note. A subtle sherry kiss and gentle spice thread through, then settle into warm oak and toffee. The finish is long, refined, and approachable, with a mellow glow that invites another sip.
