Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright straw gold, with warm amber edging and a sunlit, honeyed glow.
Nose
Maritime peat and iodine rise from the glass, smoke curling over a briny sea breeze. Sherry-cask sweetness threads through—fig and raisin, toffee and dark chocolate—while hints of orange zest and salted caramel add glossy lift. Bold, coastal, and deeply inviting.
Palate
Bold peat and maritime brine open, with lemon zest and a kiss of vanilla. Sherry cask influence unfolds into fig, raisin and dark chocolate, rounding the smoke with cocoa and spice. Velvety mouthfeel coats the palate; ash, tar and sea-salt linger, propelled by a warming, long finish of orange zest and pepper.
Finish
Long, coastal finish of smoky peat, sea-salt and a subtle spice that lingers. Rich sherry notes coat the palate—dark fruit, fig and cocoa—before a warming fade that dries to orange zest and embers.
