Broad peat smoke and sea-salted iodine frame a lush sherry backbone: orange zest, dried fig and raisin, toffee, and cocoa, lifted by a vanilla-bourbon glow. Maritime freshness lingers beneath.
Palate
Oil-slick texture and cask-strength warmth frame a bold peat core, braided with rich Oloroso sweetness. Prunes, fig and raisin mingle with orange zest, burnt sugar, and dark chocolate, while espresso notes add depth. Subtle sea salt and mineral iodine linger, finishing long with smoky oak and warming spice.
Finish
Long maritime finish with Caol Ila’s peat smoke fading into rich Oloroso sweetness. Dried fig and cocoa frame vanilla and spice from the bourbon casks, while a saline sea-breeze echo lingers, tapering to a warm, ash-dusted fade.
