Nose
Sea-salted peat and briny iodine rise first, carried on a crisp wave of lemon zest. Underneath, a refined sherried sweetness with raisin, fig and a touch of dark chocolate drifts with vanilla and toasted almond from well-aged oak. Maritime, smoky and austere, yet warm and seductive, the aroma reveals depth and calm elegance.
Palate
Peat-drenched and coastal, this Caol Ila carries smoky iodine with a maritime bite, opening into lush sherry sweetness. Dark fig and raisin mingle with cocoa, toasted oak and a hint of citrus. Velvet spice coats the palate while a saline finish lingers—long, warming and quietly smoky.
Finish
Long, maritime finish framed by peat and iodine, with briny hints lingering on the tongue. The smoke eases into a refined sweetness and mineral warmth, fading to a clean, persistent afterglow.
