A punchy 8 year old Caol Ila from the Cooper's choice range. This whisky is a single cask Bourbon cask offering, that yielded just 360 bottles.
A very coastal nose with sea salt, brine, peat, lightly cured meat and fresh lemon zest. The palate is rich and oily with more citrus flavour, lemon, toffee apple, vanilla, tar and peppery spice. The finish is long, salty and smokey.
