Colour
Pale gold with sunlit straw highlights and a subtle honey-amber glow.
Nose
Sea-salted peat and iodine rise in a maritime, smoky breeze, edged with a whisper of ash. Rich sherry-fruit notes—fig, raisin, and cherry—glow beneath, while vanilla, cocoa, and polished oak deepen the spectrum. A disciplined Islay nose: coastal, savory, and warmly complex, inviting slow, contemplative sips.
Palate
Peat smoke unfurls with coastal brine and iodine, a bright citrus lift cutting through the haze. Waxy malt adds creaminess, carrying vanilla, honeyed toffee and gentle oak spice. The palate is mineral and saline, with sea-spray whispers; peat returns on the finish, long and smoky, evolving from lemony brightness to ash and a subtle sweetness.
Finish
Long, maritime finish: smoky peat threads through salt air, kissed by iodine and lemon zest, fading to a clean, enduring warmth.
