Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with honeyed warmth and subtle coppery highlights.
Nose
On the nose, a bright fruit-forward bouquet: melon, apple, peach, strawberry, cranberry and pineapple, wafting with perfumed pear and orange marmalade. Subtle rose petal, vanilla and a whisper of sweet malt weave through the aroma, creating a fragrant sweetness that promises a lush, creamy palate to come.
Palate
Silky, syrupy on the palate, toffee sweetness mingling with soft fruits, then licorice and peppery spices rise. American oak lends vanilla hints, while the Rioja finish adds warmth, delivering a poised, lingering aftertaste.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of syrupy toffee and soft fruits, gradually unfolding into licorice and peppery spice. Rioja cask maturation adds warmth and tang, leaving a velvet, fruit-kissed fade that lingers with vanilla and subtle oak.
