Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with warm caramel-gold highlights and a soft mahogany glow.
Nose
Bruichladdich's Islay coastal character emerges, with dried orange zest, fig and toffee, cloaked in soft vanilla. Rich sherry cask notes bring raisin, cocoa and almond, while a whisper of sea spray and subtle, medicinal peat keeps it balanced—elegant oak and spice complete the lingering, refined finish.
Palate
Silky and medium-full on the palate, with a waxy, creamy mouthfeel. Citrus zest and orchard fruit mingle with warm toffee and vanilla, while sherry hints lend fig and raisin, cocoa notes. A touch of sea-salt and spice, leading to a long finish of caramel, oak, and maritime nuance.
Finish
Opulent, long finish washed in sherry sweetness: dried fruit led by raisins and fig with orange zest, layered with cocoa nib and toasted almond. A trace of spice and sea air lingers, supported by velvety oak that slowly fades into refined, enduring warmth.
