"Complex, half fruity, half oaky, starting on notes of heady vanilla, kumquat and beeswax. The oak comes to the fore in time with eucalyptus and pine resin."
A limited edition Bruichladdich release of just 4,900 bottles. Golder Still has been aged in rare squat-hogsheads which are unique casks tested in the late 70s by US coopers seeking the optimum cask shape for modern day distillation and thus emphasising the classic characteristics associated with American oak.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Complex, dual in character: half fruity, half oak. Opens with heady vanilla, kumquat and beeswax, then the oak deepens with eucalyptus and pine resin, weaving a resinous warmth into citrus sweetness and a refined, lasting aroma.
Palate
Opulent and precise, the palate opens with bright vanilla and kumquat, unfurling into beeswax and a waxy sweetness. Oak asserts mid-palate, resinous with eucalyptus and pine, sharpened by American oak influence. The fruit-and-wood balance lingers with polished vanilla-spice and a final resinous finish.
Finish
Long, waxy and refined, the finish opens with vanilla and kumquat sweetness, then unfolds into resinous oak with eucalyptus and pine, finishing in a warm, lingering coastal glow and a final kiss of beeswax.
