Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, luminous amber with bronze-gold glints and a velvety mahogany edge; a rich, sun-warmed hue that speaks of patient oak and quiet grandeur.
Nose
Simply stunning, the nose opens to tropical fruit—coconut, mango and grilled pineapple—woven with tobacco, oak spices and toasted pine needles. With air, layers emerge: honeyed melon, warm orange zest and ripe strawberries, all carried by a delicate undercurrent of coconut, ginger, vanilla custard and buttery shortbread from the oak.
Palate
Silky and viscous, with a tobacco-oak backbone of brown sugar and cocoa. That sturdy base lets tropical fruit unfold - mango, coconut, grilled pineapple, honeyed melon and ripe berries - into a lush, sunlit sweetness. Vanilla custard and buttered shortbread lend richness, while a whisper of ginger accents the finish. A drop of water deepens the weave, revealing additional layers and a long, luxurious afterglow.
Finish
A succulent fruit-forward finish that lingers for an age, apricot, mango and baked banana mingling with toasted sweet oak, honey and vanilla — a final embrace you never want to end.
