Bruichladdich Black Art 7.1 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 25 Year Old · 1994 Vintage
Out of stock
Bruichladdich's Black Art series has long been seen as one of the standout releases from this popular Islay distillery. Using an undisclosed combination of casks, these whiskies have offered a multitude of aromas and taste sensations, with only the head distiller, laterly Adam Hannet, knowing the make up of the whisky. We're excited to have the 7th edition available to purchase right now!
This 25 year old single malt has it's origins back in 1994, the year the distillery was mothballed, so this whisky really is nod to the past and a look to the future.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a coppery glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Depth and complexity on the nose: rich marzipan, almond and walnut with caramel, rose hip and whispers of strawberry and coconut. A bold fruit core—plum, pear, raisin and grapefruit—emerges, while time invests wood spice—nutmeg, oak, roasted coffee and a touch of sugar.
Palate
Silky, viscous texture coats the palate, delivering a full, indulgent mouthfeel. A delicate oak dryness sits beneath, balanced by coconut, Turkish delight, caramel and Seville orange. The flavours melt into one another, revealing real balance and texture throughout.
Finish
Textured and exceptionally long, the finish lingers on the palate, with nutty sweetness rounding off this Black Art masterpiece.
