Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and coppery highlights, a wine-warmed glow that hints at a ruby edge.
Nose
Opulent and enigmatic, the nose unfurls with dark chocolate and espresso, woven with blackberry and plum. Subtle red-wine sweetness lingers alongside sherry-tinged oak, burnt sugar and spice—cinnamon and clove. Leather, tobacco and a trace of vanilla emerge, finished with a whisper of smoke and a maritime, refined depth.
Palate
Silky, opulent and richly layered, offering dark plum and cherry fruit, cocoa, toffee and vanilla from the bourbon and wine-cask finish; a velvety mouthfeel with integrated oak and spice, and a long, warming finish.
Finish
An opulent, long finish that begins with dark berry and cocoa, carried by a refined wine-cask grace. Velvet tannins and spice spread across the palate, leaving wisps of vanilla, fig, and almond. A subtle maritime smoke lingers, tapering to a warm, resinous fade that invites another sip.
