About Rosebank (silent)
(Rose-BANK) Famous for very high quality, triple distilled malt, Rosebank Distillery can be found on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. With the exception of war time closures, Rosebank distilled until 1993 when it was closed, seemingly for good. Naturally over time bottlings have become scarce.
In 2017, Ian MacLeod Distillers announced purchase of the both site from Scottish Canals and the trademarks from Diageo and in 2020 the first new global release landed with a 30 year old whisky as part of their contuning Legacy Release series.
