Rosebank (silent) Mackillop's Choice Single Malt Scotch Whisky 22 Year Old · 1991 Vintage
Out of stock
A single cask Rosebank distilled in 1991 and matured in a Sherry Butt from Independent bottling company Mackillops Choice shortly before the distillery closed for good.
Takes a drop of water very well revealing its more floral and delicate citrus notes beyond the heat of the abv. An interesting one off style bottle from a much missed closed Lowland distillery.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden honey with a warm amber glow.
Nose
Oily citrus unfurls with herbal and grassy brightness, a delicate floral veil over waxy kumquat. Sultana sweetness and honey drift on brown bread, complemented by a ginger-spice glow.
Palate
Dry and waxy, the palate unfurls with mixed peel, herbal heat and lemongrass, then biscuit dough and a ginger kick. Oily nut shells mingle with malty oak, leaving a warm, persistent finish.
Finish
Hot and peppery, drying into herbal notes, with ginger warmth, stewed green rhubarb and a nutty dried‑fruit finish that lingers.
