Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with copper-bronze reflections.

Nose

Coastal peat smoke rolls in with sea spray and iodine, a bright lift of lemon zest. Notes of honeyed vanilla and creamy oak follow, joined by a touch of caramel and light dried-fruit sweetness, all underpinned by a polished mineral grip.

Palate

Silky and medium-bodied, with a coastal, lightly peated edge. Lemon zest and sea-salt caramel lift creamy vanilla and toasted oak, while orange rind and spice brighten the mid-palate. Sherried notes of fig and raisin deepen the fruit, finishing with soft smoke, mineral brine, and a lingering sweetness.

Finish

Long, coastal finish of peat smoke and sea-salt, lightly sweetened by citrus zest and vanilla, fading to a warm oak spice.
