Colour

Deep amber with ruby-garnet highlights and a warm mahogany glow.

Nose

Mature oak and lush red berries mingle with creamy, floral backdrop.

Palate

Polished oak frames dark red berries, with liquorice sticks and hints of nutmeg.

Finish

Long, with a drying, oak-led finish that unfurls into smooth leather. The lingering presence of red wine cask maturation adds quiet depth, finishing warmly and elegantly.

Bladnoch
(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
