Part of a trilogy of new releases from the Bladnoch distillery in the Lowlands of Scotland and the first new official bottlings in a long time fro this rejuvinated distillery now under new ownership.
The 25 year old is the oldest release of the three and finished in port pipes and along with the NAS Samsara and 15 year old Adela were released in early 2017.
Talia meaning "Dew from God" is from stock predating the new ownership and is the oldest official release from this distillery and launched to celebrate its 200 year anniversary and follows on from the previous release of "The Talia" that was finished in Virgin Oak casks.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, burnished amber with coppery-gold highlights and a ruby-tinged edge, glowing with port-finished depth.
Nose
Opulent port-driven aroma swells with ripe red berries, plum and fig, braided with dark chocolate and almond paste. Rich port sweetness meets polished vanilla oak, with whispers of clove, espresso and dried fruit. A refined, resinous edge lingers, hinting at velvety warmth and elegant maturity.
Palate
Silken and softly viscous, it delivers ripe red berries, plum and fig framed by port-inspired sweetness. Notes of toasted almond, dark chocolate and a whisper of spice emerge, with elegant oak tannins guiding a long, suave finish that lingers with refined richness.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with port-pipe grace: dark cherry and plum compote, raisin sweetness, and fig notes mingle with warm spice, cocoa and a whisper of oak, tapering to a refined, lingering warmth.
