Meaning 'dew from heaven', Bladnoch's 27 year old is the latest incarnation in the 'Talia' range. This Single Malt has been matured in ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and refill casks before being vatted and finished in ex-bourbon casks while it married. A classic Bladnoch, combining Lowland grassiness with a hint of citrus, plenty of honey and a touch of refined oak.

Radiant amber-gold with honeyed warmth and sunlit copper highlights.

Nose

A rich, waxy bouquet of malt with bright orange peel and honey, threaded with spicy toasted vanilla and a gentle whisper of grassy Lowland character.

Palate

Soft, rich and tongue-coating, it delivers spicy heather honey with gingerbread, a note of Seville orange, and a subtle nutty sweetness from vanilla oak, leaving a warm, refined finish.

Finish

Lovely balanced oak, lightly dry and spicy, with a gentle warmth that lingers.

Bladnoch
(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
