Colour

Deep golden amber with coppery highlights and a honeyed, sunlit glow.

Nose

Delicate and bright, Bladnoch unfurls lemon zest and green apple atop soft malt. Subtle sherry cask notes lend warmth—toffee, dried fig and almond—evolving with a wispy spice and a touch of oak. Clean, floral, and inviting, the aroma hints at a refined Lowland elegance.

Palate

Soft and satin on the palate, this Lowland malt delivers light malt sweetness with orchard fruit, pear and a touch of toffee. Subtle spice threads through almond and vanilla, while sherry cask influence lends raisin and cocoa notes, all wrapped in gentle oak with a refined, lingering finish.

Finish

Elegant, lingering finish with subtle sherry sweetness, vanilla cream, and dried fruit. A touch of almond and oak fades to a refined, nutty glow.

Bladnoch
(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
