Colour

Deep, sun-kissed amber with copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany at the rim.

Nose

Opulent sherry richness greets the senses: dark plum, fig and raisin, lacquered caramel and toffee. Vanilla, cocoa and toasted oak weave through subtle spice, with a bright lift of orange zest.

Palate

Silky and lush on the palate, it unfurls with rich dried fruit—raisins and fig—alongside orange zest and toffee. Sherried sweetness coats vanilla, almond and a kiss of spice, tempered by oak, delivering a warm, long finish.

Finish

Long, elegant finish with sherry-kissed dried fruits and toasted almond, wrapped in velvety oak and subtle spice. Raisin, date and chocolate notes linger, slowly fading to a warm, refined dryness.

Bell’s traces its roots to Arthur Bell, a Perth wine and spirits merchant who began vatting malt whiskies together in 1851 to create a more consistent blended Scotch. The “Extra Special” trademark was registered in 1895 and later appeared with the Bell’s name in 1904, becoming the basis of the long-running Bell’s blend. Blair Athol, founded in 1798, became closely tied to the brand after Arthur Bell & Sons acquired the distillery in 1933.
