"I'm amazed my stemmed nosing glass hasn't cracked under the weight of this Speyside monster of a dram. With the mix of fruit and big oak, probably distilled in lead stills."

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany-tinged edge.
Nose
An imposing, fruit-forward bouquet fills the glass: ripe orchard fruits and citrus zest braided with a colossal oak backbone. Sherry notes weave warmth with vanilla and baking spices, delivering a rich, poised aroma that hints at the depth and power awaiting in the sip.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, the palate unfurls dark fruit—fig, raisin, baked apple—woven with vanilla and toasted oak. Sherry influence adds cocoa, spice, and a peppery warmth from the 49.8% strength. Creamy and substantial, it coats the mouth with a long finish of dried fruit sweetness, orange zest, and espresso echoes.
Finish
Long, sumptuous finish blending ripe fruit and rich oak with vanilla and spice; a warm, lingering fade that carries hints of sherry, leather, and subtle oak tannins, slowly fading to a refined afterglow.
