Pretty much the pinnacle of Balvenie Whiskies, even better than our all time favourite the 30 year old. These bottles are very much underated in our opinion and it's only a matter of time before people catch on to how fantastic they really are.

Opulent sherry-kissed aroma with dark fig and raisin, layered with toffee, burnt sugar and orange zest. Cocoa, vanilla and polished oak unfold, entwined with warm cinnamon and clove. A whisper of leather lends depth, yielding a luxurious, well-aged richness.
Palate
Silky and richly layered on the palate, this Balvenie Single Barrel from a 1974 cask delivers velvety toffee and honeyed sweetness mingling with dried fig and raisin fruit. Sherry influence brings dark chocolate, orange peel, and warming spice, while the oak is refined and integrated. A full, balanced mouthfeel leads to a long, elegant finish marked by polished wood and subtle leather.

Long and velvety, the finish unfolds with sherry-soaked fruit, orange zest and dark chocolate. Subtle spice and polished oak frame a warm caramel sweetness, fading to a refined, lingering fig-and-nut nuance.
