Cult Cult Cult that's what we have to say about this very much sought after Balvenie that has been matured in ex-Islay single malt casks. Only 94 casks of this were ever produced and although they do now make a Peated cask, this is the real deal, so expect this to become much more in demand over the coming years. Stop Press Balvenie have now discontinued their Peated cask also.

(bal-VENN-ee) Founded in 1889 by William Grant, Balvenie is located next to the giant Glenfiddich distillery on the outskirts of Dufftown in Speyside. The distillery employs traditional whisky making methods, being one of the few to retain its original floor maltings and on site cooperage. The Balvenie single malt is typically rich, luxuriously smooth, and has a distinctive honeyed character.
