The Auchentoshan Three Wood is a vatting of whiskies matured in three types of cask: ex-Bourbon, ex-Oloroso Sherry, and ex-PX Sherry. The result is a rich, sweet, fruity whisky packed with flavours of dried fruit, chocolate, crushed nuts, and ginger cake spice.

Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Queen of puddings—black fruit jam with baked meringue, treacle toffee and ripe figs cloaked in dark honey. Rich dark chocolate and honeycomb mingle with crème brûlée tops and a kiss of orange liqueur, weaving a luscious, dessert-like aroma that hints at forest-fruit sweetness and warm spices.
Palate
Hazelnut puree with dark chocolate and orange fondant, swirled with butterscotch and Nutella on vanilla toast; fig jam rounds out the palate with a warm kiss of cinnamon.
Finish
An opulent, lingering finish of sweet, sticky toffee pudding, unfolding into orange zest and honeycomb, with gingercake and aromatic spices warming the palate long after each sip.
