A classic triple distilled Single Malt Whisky from the Scottish Lowlands, not far from the city of Glasgow. A soft, sweet, delicate dram with aromas and flavours of vanilla, honey, and toasted almonds.
"Initially sweet, but then some lime notes creep in. The Sherry supports the spirit nicely, and the experience is smooth and very pleasant. Fresh green grass and sweet fruit notes in the mouth. Strangely, this Whisky also works with a single ice cube."
91.5 points in Jim Murray's whisky bible 2017.
Featured in the 1001 Whiskies you must try before you die book.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden straw with a soft honey glow and a whisper of amber.
Nose
Soft, sweet and delicate on the nose, with vanilla and honey wrapped around toasted almonds. A lime zest note emerges, adding a crisp lift, while a gentle sherry influence lends depth. Fresh green grass and faint orchard fruit aromas drift in the background, finishing with a quiet, graceful sweetness.
Palate
Silky and light on the palate, with vanilla, honey and toasted almond. Fresh green grass and sweet fruit notes emerge, while lime hints lift the citrus spine. The sherry influence adds gentle depth, keeping the sweetness balanced. A smooth, clean mouthfeel with an approachable finish that lingers softly.
Finish
Silky and lightly drying, the finish lingers with honeyed vanilla and toasted almond. A bright lime glint threads through a sherry-kissed sweetness, slowly giving way to a soft, refined citrus and nut fade. Smooth, warm and persistent, with hints of orchard fruit lingering in the finale.
