Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany undertones and coppery highlights, emanating a warm, sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
Deep, opulent sherried aromas of dried fig and date, with plum and cherry, layered over treacle, toffee and dark chocolate. Walnut, polished oak and orange zest mingle with almond paste and a whisper of leather. Cinnamon and clove spice threads through, lifting a resinous warmth that hints at tobacco, cocoa and a long, refined finish.
Palate
Luxuriously full-bodied, the palate opens with fig and raisin paste, orange zest and caramel, unfolding into dark chocolate, praline and cocoa nibs. Ex-sherry warmth mingles with spice—nutmeg and clove—and a hint of leather, while polished oak provides quiet backbone. Velvet-smooth and mouthfilling, it finishes with treacle, coffee and lingering dried-fruit richness.
Finish
Long and opulent, the finish releases sherried fruit and spice. Dried fig and raisin linger with cocoa, walnut and orange zest, beneath a whisper of oak. A warm, velvety tail settles softly on the palate, carrying a spice-kissed warmth that lingers.
